Pricing:

AAP's work is priced competitively, given its superior quality and our comprehensive service. While many photographers provide estimates based on hourly rates plus expenses, AAP prefers to provide an all-inclusive estimate on a per-job basis. Efficiency of time is a priority and a trademark -- allowing us to provide you with final images very quickly while minimizing inconvenience to residents or building occupants. An initial visit to provide an estimate is available at no charge.

The pricing below are estimates based upon single assignments. AAP is pleased to offer discounts for companies or individuals committing to significant volume. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

Interiors:

In general, expect to pay between $400 to $750 per image for interiors of the premium quality shown on this website. These photographs require careful placement of extensive lighting equipment, and are often photographed at dusk, creating a dramatic mood that highlights the room's prominent features. For those on a smaller budget, we can offer a lower price for a lighting setup that is simple and balanced, but less dramatic and less time-intensive.

Exteriors:

In general, expect to pay between $500-$850 per image for the dusk exteriors shown on this website. Exteriors are generally more complex and require more time and lighting equipment than most interiors. We also offer daylight exteriors with minimal additional lighting, at lower rates.

Digital Imaging:

All estimates include basic digital imaging and color correction of all images. Requests for extensive image manipulation will be handled separately and billed at a rate of $95/hr.

What you get:

Our prices include all expenses, basic digital imaging, photographic assistant, custom CD, and delivery. Each file is saved as multiple versions, optimized for web, magazine and newspaper reproductions. This eliminates any need for you or your staff to spend hours reformatting images for particular uses, and gives you the assurance that all files are perfectly calibrated for each use. Our previous clients have found the custom CD to be extremely valuable.

Client Guidelines:

There are a few things the homeowner or client can take of before our arrival, in order to help us to be efficient with our time and to avoid having to rescheduling the photo shoot. The following guidelines apply to all areas scheduled to be photographed:

Rooms should be freshly cleaned and free of personal clutter (refrigerator photos, post-its, toiletries, clothing, other personal belongings, etc.).

Beds should be neatly made and wrinkle free.
All lightbulbs should be in working condition. Shades and blinds should be fully accessible and operable. Windows should be recently cleaned.
Pets should be secured and kept away from the area being photographed. We often have electrical cords, light stands and camera equipment that could be a hazard to them and expensive to replace if knocked over.

All security alarms should be turned off. We are happy to lock up with a key, but please plan to have another authorized person turn the alarm off before we arrive and reset alarm after the shoot. AAP will not assume responsibility for charges incurred due to accidental alarm activation.

Woodburning fireplaces should be operable. If we make a small fire for the photograph, we will do our best to remove the ashes, but cannot provide a detailed cleaning. If fireplaces are not to be used, please notify us beforehand.

Sprinklers and automatic irrigation systems MUST be turned off if we are scheduled to do any exterior photography.
Access to the house should be snow and ice-free.
Patio furniture covers and propane heaters should be removed.
Decorative candles that should not be lit should be removed.
Set the dining room table, or kitchen bar area, complete with placemats, utensils, plates, glasses, and napkins. This is a nice touch that ads considerable appeal to almost every image.

Leave contact phone numbers in case any problems or questions arise during the shoot.
